Pick-up for Five-Star Camp will be TODAY,  Friday June 26, 2009 @ the Pompano Beach Service Plaza, Off the FLA Turnpike, please be there for a 7:30 pm drop off time.

In order to attend Five-Star Camp you must submit the camp wavier, please submit direct to Five-Star or bring the wavier with you.

Below is Camp Info and the items that you must bring to camp:

            -REQUIRED: $50 Room Key Deposit (returned at end of week provided return of room key)
            -REMINDER: If you have not submitted the Camp Waiver form, you can print it and bring it with you to check-in: http://www.5starbball..com/registration/waiver.pdf

 

Please Note: the first meal of the day will be dinner so please either pack a lunch or eat before arriving at camp.

 

Camp ends with Awards ceremony June 30^th at 11am in the Fieldhouse.

 

Daily Schedule will be posted each morning at the camp, Parents are welcome to attend.

What should I bring to Camp?

(Please remember that this is suggested and you can adjust to your own personal needs)

-          12 pairs of sweat socks

-          1 pair of good basketball sneakers

-          7 t-shirts (one mostly white or white t-shirt for the playoffs)

-          5 pairs of shorts

-          1 sweat suit or sweat shirt

-          3 towels

-          1 blanket or sleeping bag

-          2 sheets

-          1 pillow and pillow case

-          A Fan

-          Toiletries

DO NOT bring:

-          Your own basketball; we have plenty of our own for camp

-          Non-essential electronics or other valuables (jewelry, etc)

Practice

Practices every Wednesday will be at Chaminade thru the summer.  We will notify everyone when we have made other practice arrangements. 

Great Job This Weekend

We would like to thank all of the players for their effort this weekend in all of the games.  We all got better this weekend and that is what we wanted to do.  We beat some quality teams, now we need to keep building on that and take our play to  another level.  One of the things that we are most proud of are the compliments from the other teams and the  FAU coaching staff, not only about your play, but that you guys are fine young men.

FAU Team Camp Schedule

The 16U Big Cats team will be participating in the FAU team camp this weekend, at the FAU Arena, in Boca Raton.  The 16U team name for this weekend is Big Cats Orange.

5.	Merge onto I-95 N via the ramp to W Palm Beach		25.3 mi
6.	Take exit 45 for Glades Rd/FL-808		0.4 mi
7.	Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Boca Raton and merge onto FL-808/Glades Rd Destination will be on the left		1.0 mi
